As a pharmacist, Robbie knew about the health benefits of vitamins and other supplements. She also knew that certain vitamins and supplements would help her quit smoking. “I take a multivitamin. But it’s not that simple. “People often don’t understand how they’re supposed to take the drug, what it’s really for, how much to take or how diet can have an impact on the medication,” says Bri Morris of the National Community Pharmacists Association (ncpanet.org), which represents America’s community pharmacists, including the owners of more than 23,000 pharmacies.
